Different places of origin: bergamot is mainly native to China, Yunnan and Guangdong, and has been planted in other Asian countries and regions such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan Province and India as of February 25th, 2023. The bergamot is mainly distributed in South China and Southwest China, such as Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and other provinces.
Appearance is different: the fruit of bergamot is palm-like, showing dark yellow or orange, while the flesh is light yellow. In contrast, the shape of Chaenomeles is palm-like, but it is actually a vegetable. Its surface is light green or light yellow, and its flesh is white.
