This disease is caused by herpes simplex virus type I infection, and it usually occurs at the junction of skin and mucosa such as lips and nostrils. It is more common in dry season in autumn and winter and after eating spicy, fried, barbecue and other hot and dry foods.
At first, local itching, pain, redness and swelling occurred, and then clustered papules appeared, which quickly merged into blisters, and rotten surfaces appeared after rupture. After a few days, the blister is dry and scabbed, the scab skin is hard to take off, there is a little erosion and exudation at the base, and occasionally there is mild fever or general discomfort. There is still temporary pigmentation after healing. The disease is self-limited, the course of disease is about 1 ~ 2 weeks, and it is easy to recur in the original site.
You can use some antiviral drugs as appropriate, such as acyclovir ointment. Drink some herbal tea such as Radix Isatidis, Xiasangju and Wang Laoji. Drink plenty of water and have a proper rest to avoid fatigue and staying up late.
Light diet, avoid spicy food such as spicy food, fried food and barbecue. After eating spicy food, drink mung bean soup, seaweed soup, bean curd soup, balsam pear tea, chrysanthemum tea, honeysuckle tea and so on. Reduce the fire in time.
