How to chop whole corn stalks in the field and what machine to use

Chop the whole corn stalks in the field with a saw disc straw crushing and returning machine.

The saw disc-type straw crushing and returning machine is mainly composed of a stem cutting hob, a pickup, an active saw disc, a driven saw disc, a power transmission system, a frame, etc. When working, the corn stalks are first cut from the root by the hob, and the corn stalks are fed to the saw blade through the picker. The master and slave saw disc knives rotate in opposite directions to cut and crush the fed straw and evenly scatter it to the surface. Three rows of corn can be crushed at one time. Since the straw is chopped off the ground and the saw disc plays a supporting role, the saw disc wears less and the machine power consumption is also reduced.

The saw disc knife is a straight-edged flat plate type, divided into active saw disc and driven saw disc. There are 28 active saw discs and 56 driven disc knives, which are respectively fixed on the main and slave cutter shafts through bolts and spacer sleeves. The distance between the active saw discs is 50 mm, and the driven saw discs and the active saw discs are staggered to ensure the uniformity of straw cutting. It adopts saw disc type cutter, which has simple structure and convenient maintenance and replacement. The saw disc has strong grabbing and chopping capabilities and works smoothly. It overcomes the shortcomings of the hammer claw and knife throwing force, load fluctuation, high power consumption and other shortcomings. It also has low re-cutting and missed cutting rates, uniform chopping length, and is suitable for different types of products. Straw with high moisture content has better adaptability. In order to avoid chopping up the soil, a spring-tooth pickup is designed in front of the saw disc, which is mainly composed of spring teeth, tracks and spring-tooth rollers. In order to optimize the structural parameters and motion parameters of the picker, a virtual prototype design method was adopted, and the Pro/Mechanica module was used to conduct fatigue analysis and motion simulation of the elastic teeth, and obtain the change curves of the elastic teeth speed, acceleration and track force, etc., and analyzed The relationship and influence between parameters improve design accuracy and development efficiency. The picker can float with the ground surface when working, ensuring that no soil is carried or missed, and the quality of straw return to the field is improved.
