April 23, 20 19, I couldn't sit still in the hotel, so I had to see Nanluoguxiang. But my mother is tired, can't walk, and wants to rest. I had to go shopping and check the map alone. It's about 4.5 kilometers away from me, so I decided to walk up and arrive in more than an hour.
Nanluoguxiang is a north-south alley, located in the middle of the intersection area behind the Forbidden City in Beijing, in the northeast corner of Jingshan Park and on the east side of Beijing's central axis. This is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Beijing. It has a history of more than 700 years. Because of the high terrain in the middle and low terrain in the north and south, it is named Luoguo Lane. In the 15th year of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty (1785), it was renamed Nanluoguxiang.
Jiaodaokou area starts from Gulou East Street in the north, reaches Di 'anmen East Street in the south, reaches Di 'anmenwai Street in the west and reaches Jiaodaokou South Street in the east. The rectangular plot surrounded by these four streets is the two squares in Yuan Dynasty, with Nanluoguxiang as the boundary, Zhao Hui Square in the east, Gong Jing Square in the west, and Nanluoguxiang as the boundary lane between the two squares.
Old Beijing Hutong originated in Yuan Dynasty. According to the Ming Dynasty's Collection of Hutongs in Wuchengfang Lane, there were 36 hutongs in Beijing, 28 in the inner city, 8 in the outer city, and 1288 famous streets and alleys. By the Qing Dynasty, the city of Beijing had expanded and its population had increased. According to the records of Jingshifang Lane, there were 2077 streets, lanes and hutongs in Beijing at that time, and 978 of them were directly called hutongs. In the Republic of China, the city began the process of modernization reform. There are 6074 famous streets and lanes in Beijing. Traditionally, people divide streets and alleys into hutongs. Someone once used the phrase "There are 360 famous hutongs, but there are a lot of unknown hutongs". It is not only the vein of the city, the main road of traffic, but also the place where ordinary people in Beijing live, and it is an important stage for the development and evolution of Beijing's history and culture. It records the changes of history and the features of the times, and contains a strong flavor of life and culture.
Nanluoguxiang Community is one of the oldest blocks in Beijing, the basic unit of China ancient residential area organization and urban planning and construction, the only chessboard traditional residential area with the largest scale, the highest grade and the richest resources in China, and the street with the most flavor of old Beijing. Hutong is a well-preserved virgin land of Beijing's ancient capital, colorful and profound. There are seven or eight east-west hutongs in this area, including Yuer Hutong, Maoer Hutong and Heizhima Hutong. There are the Central Academy of Drama, Heshang Palace, Wanrong Former Residence, Hong Chengchou Former Residence, Qi Baishi Former Residence, Mao Dun Former Residence and Chiang Kai-shek Xingyuan, which were built at the same time as the Yuan Dynasty. They used to be the center of the Yuan Dynasty, and in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was a place where the rich gathered. In fact, it has been here since the Ming and Qing Dynasties. From the generals of the Ming Dynasty to the princes of the Qing Dynasty, from the presidents of the Beiyang government to the presidents of the Kuomintang, from masters of painting to masters of literature, the alleys here are crowded with dignitaries and palaces. It was not until the collapse of the Qing Dynasty that the prosperity of Nanluoguxiang slowly ended.
However, in recent years, it has become a hot spot in many fashions. Many film and television dramas are filmed here, and many foreign travelers list it as a must-see attraction in Beijing. Every hutong here has left traces of history, every hutong here has rich cultural accumulation, every house tells ancient legends, and even the air is filled with the breath of history. At present, Nanluoguxiang is too commercialized. Famous restaurants are famous for pizza and snacks. Wenyu cheese seems to be the best cheese in Beijing, and sour plum soup is also a feature here. Walking into the "Band-Aid 8" T-shirt shop, people feel that they are in Beijing in the 1980s, and old things can be seen everywhere. There is also Lotte Pottery Club, where you can enjoy the pottery products here while drinking coffee, or even make them yourself.
I carry a traveling bag and walk in the dust of history from south to north. I touch the blue bricks hundreds of years ago from time to time. Maybe someone happened to touch them in another life. Is it shaking hands with the ancients? Suddenly a song floated across my ears. "I blew the wind you blew. Is this a hug? " I walked the path you walked. Is this a meeting? "
