Is it true that all the licensed versions bought in Korea are imported versions? Is there any place where you can buy the Korean domestic version?
It is only possible to be the introduction of the version, because the introduction of the version is also the original, in mainland China, if the release, but also must have mainland China's companies to buy the copyright, can be released. Therefore, you often see on the disk is limited to the Chinese mainland.

Other places, I'm not sure, if in Shenzhen, Boya has, but often Europe, the United States, Canada and other places of the original version of the more, Korea and Japan's original version of the less.

Original (foreign, including Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and other places to produce CD)

Introduced version (domestic production of CD)

Publishing and distribution: songbook signed by the original company, such as Aaron Kwok, Zheng Xiuwen, Sun Yanzi signed the Hong Kong Warner Records, then their records by the Hong Kong Warner Records to produce, publishing and distribution. Difference between original, imported and pirated CDs.

It is my sincere hope that you will bear with me and criticize me for my shortcomings.

First of all,

Original: also known as "genuine", "original", "Hong Kong edition", "Taiwan edition". (In this case, only for records published by Hong Kong and Taiwan)

Introduced version: also known as "domestic version", "mainland version".

Original and imported versions are both genuine CDs.

Differences between original and imported versions:

1. Publishing company. For example: Twins' Our Memorial, the original version is published by EEG Entertainment, the imported version is published by Mecca Audio & Video.

2. Copyright. For example, the copyright of Twins' "Our Memorial Book" belongs to EEG, and domestic companies need to buy the copyright and license from EEG before they are allowed to reproduce and distribute it.

3. Calculating record sales. You may have heard of the XX album sales charts. These charts only count the sales of the original albums. Imported copies are not counted.

4. Many original CDs come with some kind of freebie, such as a poster, MTV, photo book, calendar, Post-Card, or other item. For example, the original Twins' Our Memorial album comes with a Twins Cup 2002 Twister doll; a Twins Face Towel; a Disney Marie Phone Cord; Clean & Clear Anti-Blackhead Cleansing Cotton and Magic Blotting Papers; a Nice Claup Tu-tu Discount Coupon Card; and a Genro Sushi Food Coupon. Most of the imported versions don't have freebies.

5. Fonts: The font of the original CDs published in Hong Kong and Taiwan is of course Traditional Chinese, overseas is the local language, and in Japan it is Japanese (nonsense). The imported version, most of them will be published in simplified Chinese.

6. The quality. In my opinion, the original version is much more beautiful than the imported version!!!! The lyrics of some of the imported CDs are printed on the cover, which is only one page. All the original CDs have a thick lyrics book with lots of pictures. In terms of packaging, lyrics book, CD disk, CD case, I think the original version is definitely more beautiful than the imported version.

7. The original CD comes with a fan club membership card, which the imported version does not have; some of the original CDs, the size of the box is very large, such as Jay Chou<FANTASY + PLUS (hardcover)> the original version, the box is as big as a small pillow. The original Twins' Our Memorial album, which was the size of three bricks.

8. Price. Original CDs usually cost more than RMB 100, imported versions usually cost around RMB 60, with some special imported versions costing just over RMB 10-20.

9. Censored songs. Due to the strict control in Mainland China, some songs will be deleted from the imported version, so some imported CDs have 1 or 2 songs less than the original version. For example, Eason Chan, a few songs have been deleted. Some of Jay Chou's songs had their titles changed, for example, the song "Split" from <Octave> for some reason, the title was changed to "Leave" in the imported version.

Mainland audio-visual companies, if they want to introduce an album for sale in the mainland, first have to buy a license from the original record company, then bring the album to the Cultural Affairs Bureau for approval, mainly to change or even delete some of the songs that are reactionary, pornographic and have no positive meaning, and then, after approval, the audio-visual company can reproduce and publish the album.

This is exactly why the songs in #9 above were censored.

Identifying the original

There is a number on the side of the box, and a number on the center ring of the CD, and the two numbers are the same.

Generally speaking, in the mainland, only Shenzhen, Guangzhou have original CD sales. Those who have bought original CDs can easily recognize the difference between the original version and the imported or pirated version. Because the quality of the original CDs is not comparable to the imported and pirated versions.
