Ingredients: 1 stick of lettuce, 1 spoon of salt, 1 spoon of white sugar, 1 spoon of white vinegar, 10 drops of sesame oil
Steps for making shredded cold lettuce
1. Prepare one lettuce , peel and wash and set aside! (Choose tender lettuce, not too old!)
2. Grate the lettuce into thin strips with a grater and set aside! (If you don’t have a grater, you’ll have to test your knife skills! Try to cut into thin shreds!)
3. Boil the water, add a little salt and a few drops of oil, add the lettuce shreds and blanch them for about 10 seconds. That’s it!
4. Blanch the lettuce shreds and quickly rinse them in cold water 2 to 3 times to keep the lettuce shreds crisp!
5. Remove and drain the water, add a spoonful of salt, mix well and marinate for about 5 minutes!
6. Squeeze out the water from the pickled lettuce shreds, add a spoonful of sugar, 1 spoonful of white vinegar, and 10 drops of sesame oil, mix well and marinate to taste!
7. Sprinkle the shredded lettuce with a little white sesame seeds and red pepper rings for decoration!
