In this process, lime will gradually ooze water, and its volume will gradually shrink, and finally it will be completely soaked in water. If the water output is not enough to soak all the limes, you can always change the position of the limes in the bottle. In order to speed up the pickling, you can also prick some small holes in the lime peel with toothpicks in advance.
