The source is the whole grass of Fritillaria ovata of Orchidaceae. Harvest from July to September.
Original form perennial epiphytic herb. Rhizomes creeping, long15 ~ 50 cm, jointed, scaly, with sparse pseudobulb. Pseudobulb is narrowly obovate, green and yellow, smooth, with 2 leaves at the top and 3-4 fibrous roots at the base. Leaf blade ovate, short-stalked, leathery, apex short-acuminate, and margin flexed. Inflorescence terminal, with 2 ~ 3 flowers; The flower is large, white, with purplish red veins, and there are 3 brownish yellow patches in the middle of the lip.
Habitat distribution is born on the rock edge, under the forest and in the damp places along the road.
