Stewed rice with sausage and beans
Ingredients: 300 grams of rice, 200 grams of sausage, 1 section of carrot, 200 grams of beans, 1 potato, 1 corn, 1 section of green onion, 1 ginger block, 3 grams of salt, 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, 1 wok, 1 rice cooker
Method:
Dice beans, carrots and potatoes, peel corn and slice sausages for later use ;
Pour oil into the wok, add onions and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant;
Add in diced carrots, beans, potatoes, corn kernels and salt and stir-fry;
Add water, add the sausage and bring to a boil, then turn off the heat;
In the rice cooker, add water, rice, stir-fried vegetables, mix well and simmer until done.
Tips
The water used to simmer the rice should be less so that the rice grains will be distinct and delicious.
Traditional Chinese medicine believes that beans have the functions of improving eyesight, aiding diarrhea, and eliminating edema. It is mainly used to treat symptoms such as deficiency and cold, abdominal distension, chronic dysentery, and menstrual pain. It can be used as a dietary therapy for beriberi and edema of the feet.
Note: The cooking time of the beans must be sufficient, otherwise they may be poisoned if they are not cooked well.
