Preservation methods of chanterelle mushrooms

1. Freezing and Chilling:This is the most traditional method. Wrap fresh chanterelles in large cabbage leaves, or cover them with a lid, and place them in the refrigerator. The temperature should be 8-10 degrees. This method will add 4-5 days of freshness.

2. Edible Salt Refrigeration:Comb the freshly picked chanterelles and soak them in 0.6% edible salt water for about 10 minutes. Let it dry and store it in a bag. It can be refrigerated for 5~8 days.

3. Vacuum Pump Ultra-low Temperature Refrigeration: Put the chanterelle mushrooms into the bag with large ductility, poor permeability and waterproof layer, and expel all the gas inside so that the chanterelle mushrooms can't touch the gas. After sealing the bag, put the bag with chanterelles into the freezing room of the refrigerator, so that it can be kept for more than half a year.

Precautions for eating mushrooms.

It is not advisable to eat chanterelles with alcohol. This is because mushroom food is rich in a variety of substances which may react chemically with alcohol and lead to health problems.

It is not advisable to eat termites with other mushrooms. This is because different kinds of wild fungi are prone to chemical reactions when mixed and fried, and non-toxic fungi can easily become toxic.
