Practice of Dangshen Yam Old Chicken Soup
1. Cut the old chicken into pieces, 2 codonopsis pilosula, and peel and wash the yam section;
2. Cut the yam into pieces and soak it in salt water to avoid oxidation and blackening;
3. Prepare a handful of Fructus Lycii, and cut Radix Codonopsis into small pieces for later use;
4. Pour the old chicken into the pot with cold water;
5. After the soup is boiled 10 minutes, open the lid and pour the yam and codonopsis pilosula;
6. Cook on low heat for 40 minutes until the soup turns white;
7. Season with salt, turn off the fire and sprinkle with medlar.
