Teochew Moon Cake, also known as Chiu Chow Cake, is a kind of Chinese pastry in Chaoshan District, Guangdong Province. It is one of the four major moon cake genres in China. The main features of common Teochew Moon Cake (round shape) are: crispy skin, fine filling, not too fatty, sweet and not too greasy, which can be divided into mung bean, black soybean, crystal and taro according to the type of filling, and the inner core can be made up of egg yolk or seafood etc. (no core is allowed).
