Pu'er City. According to the official website of Pu'er Municipal People's Government, Pu'er belongs to the prefecture-level city of Pu'er under the jurisdiction of Yunnan Province, located in the southwestern part of Yunnan Province, bordered by Honghe and Yuxi in the east, Xishuangbanna in the south, Lincang in the northwest, and Dali and Chuxiong in the north. Pu'er covers an area of about 45,000 square kilometers, with one municipal district and nine autonomous counties under its jurisdiction. As of the end of 2022, the resident population of Pu'er City was 2.37 million.
