Bookmarks are the way to go

The method of making bookmarks is as follows:

Materials: cardboard, double-sided tape, scissors.

1. Cut a square piece of paper.

2. Fold in half along the diagonal line, as shown in the picture below.

3. Fold in half along the other diagonal corner to make two vertical creases.

4. As shown in the picture below, fold one corner to the center, leaving a crease half way from the center.

5. Start folding small piano pleats at this crease.

6. See the picture below for the folded appearance.

7. Use the same method to fold the same pleats on the opposite side, as shown in the picture below.

8. As shown in the picture below, fold the two opposite corners relative to each other.

9. Fold one corner to the center point, as shown in the picture below.

10. Paste double-sided tape at the location as shown in the picture (you can also apply other tape).

11. Peel off the paper on the double-sided tape, as shown in the picture below.

12. Fold the pleated part back and stick it to the glue position, as shown in the picture below.

13. Glue both sides, as shown in the picture below, and a small bookmark is ready.

A bookmark is a label for reading made of paper, electronics, plant leaves, or metal. It is used to inscribe the title of a book, and is usually affixed to the upper left corner of the cover of ancient books. Sometimes it also contains the volume number, the name of the inscriber, and where to mark the reading. Bookmarks are small sheets inserted into books to record reading progress. With the development of the Internet era, e-bookmarks have emerged to record reading progress and experiences.
