How to make gingerbread?

Choose ingredients

200g sugar, 1 packet of vanilla caster sugar, 1 piece of pork rind, 1 pinch of cloves, allspice and cardamom, 200g chopped almonds, 50g candied fruit Orange peel, 75 g candied lemon peel, zest of half a lemon, 250 g flour, 4 eggs, 1 packet of baking powder, pie crust with a radius of 7 cm, icing sugar, almonds for decoration.

Preparation method

1. First put the eggs, vanilla sugar and white sugar into a bowl and stir until foamy.

2. Add almonds, candied lemon peel, candied orange peel and other seasonings, then add flour and baking powder and knead into dough.

3. Cut the dough into finger-thick, square pieces. Place on an ungreased iron baking pan and bake at 175 to 200 degrees Celsius for 15 to 20 minutes.
