Shahefen originated from Shahe in the northern suburb of Guangzhou. After 100 years of continuous circulation, it has become a daily snack food in most parts of Guangdong. It is said that as early as the 1950s of 19, several Shahe people made Shahe powder. Taking advantage of the unique geographical environment, they soaked rice in Baiyun Mountain Spring, then ground it into pulp with a stone mill, filtered it, glued it and cut it into vermicelli, which became the authentic Shahe powder that everyone loved.
