Appearance, leaves, texture and flavor.

1. Artemisia bamboo shoots (also known as kale bamboo shoots) are relatively slender in shape, similar to the shoots of kale and cai cai. Lettuce shoots (also called celery shoots) are slightly stubby in shape, similar to the young stems of celery.

2. The young leaves of mugwort are dark green, sometimes with purple veins. The young leaves of lettuce are also dark green, but not as long as the leaves of wormwood.

3. Artemisia shoots are delicious and have a certain bitterness, but the bitterness is not obvious. The tender stems of lettuce are crisp and tender, with a refreshing taste and a relatively sweet taste.
