Do storm corn snakes bite?
Biting. Although blizzard corn snakes are docile and basically don't bite, they may still bite sometimes if they are irritated by hurting them. The blizzard corn snake is a member of the family of viperidae, and there are two subspecies. Usually red and with orange saddle markings, they have a wide variety of color variations, ranging from fluorescent orange to gray, taupe, earthy yellow, and purple. They are also called "corn snakes" because of their black-edged red or reddish-brown markings on the body and the lighter and darker chevron-like markings on the belly.
