First, the planting method of mint seeds

1. sowing date: the Yangtze river valley in south China10-the end of June 1 10 is suitable for autumn and winter planting, and it is suitable for spring planting in north China from March to April.

2. Sowing method:

(1) container: you can use a smaller flowerpot when sowing. You can also use a milk box instead, and poke a few small holes in the bottom of the box with an awl.

(2) Soil: Vanilla seeds are relatively small, and the germination rate is low, so the soil for general sowing needs to be loose, breathable, strong in water retention and fully disinfected. Generally, vermiculite, peat, water moss, perlite and snake sawdust are mixed.

(3) Sowing: touch some seeds with your hands and sprinkle them gently on the soil. Then evenly cover the thin soil, and pay attention to keep the soil moisture.

(4) Water: Water thoroughly after sowing. Water with a watering can. Don't use force, lest the seeds be washed away. It is best to sit in a basin, that is, put 2/3 pots of water in a big basin and sit the container in the basin. Let the water seep through the hole at the bottom of the container. The water level in the big basin should not exceed the height of the soil in the container. After sowing, the container should be covered with plastic wrap, and several holes should be punched in the plastic wrap to breathe. Put the container in the sun and keep the temperature at about 20 degrees. Most seeds can germinate after a week.

(1) Peppermint seeds generally germinate at high temperature, generally around 25-30 degrees.

And keep it moist, and don't put too much water, so it's best to dry it quickly if you only put a little water in general.

(2) Prepare cold boiled water with a water temperature of about 40 degrees, then pour in mint seeds and let them soak for 5 hours. The water temperature does not need to be constant, so that the water can cool naturally.

(3) After the mint seeds are soaked, start to cut the mineral water bottle, cut off a part, and the cut-off part is cylindrical, about 5cm high. Then put the cylindrical part upright on the plate, spread a piece of tissue paper above the column, which can be hung on the bottom of the plate, pour the mint seeds on the tissue paper in the middle of Tong Yuan, and cover it with a layer of tissue paper. Then add water to the plate. Moisture will be sucked up by the tissue paper, which will remain wet, and the tissue paper will not be too wet due to gravity.
