The food safety law officially came into force on October 1, 2015 . The provisions are as follows:

1, food safety work to implement prevention-oriented, risk management, the whole process of control, social **** governance, the establishment of scientific and strict supervision and management system;

The health administrative department of the State Council, in accordance with this Law and the State Council's responsibilities, to organize and carry out food safety risk monitoring and risk assessment, in conjunction with the State Council's food safety supervision and management department to develop and publish national standards for food safety. Other relevant departments of the State Council, in accordance with this Law and the State Council's responsibilities, to undertake work related to food safety.

Food Safety Law on food safety standards:

(a) food-related products in the pathogenic microorganisms, pesticide residues, residues of veterinary drugs, heavy metals, pollutants, and other substances hazardous to human health limitations.

In summary, the Food Safety Law came into force on October 1, 2015, and the legislative purpose is to ensure food safety and protect public health and life safety.
