Wild carrot, Umbelliferae, carrot, is a traditional Chinese medicine, and its Tibetan name is Yongjia. Umbelliferae plants are cold, slightly bitter and sweet, and have little toxicity. Wild carrot is a biennial herb with a height of 15- 120 cm. Stem solitary, with rough bristles. Wild carrots are mainly born in wasteland, hillside and roadside, with flowering period from May to July and fruiting period from July to August.
