Piranha, also known as piranha, is a tropical freshwater carnivorous fish native to the Amazon River basin in South America. They have hard teeth, a strong hissing bite, and feed on fish and falling animals.
The piranha's upper and lower palate bite is so strong that it can bite through cowhide or even hard boards, and can break steel fishing hooks with a bite, and has the guts to attack animals several times larger than itself or even dozens of times larger.
