Huainan Normal University (HNU), abbreviated as "Huaibei Normal University", located in Huaibei City, Anhui Province, China, is a comprehensive university focusing on teacher education. The history of the university can be traced back to the founding of Huaibei Normal School in 1909, which is one of the earliest teacher training schools in China. After years of development, the university was upgraded to an undergraduate college in 2003 and renamed Huaibei Normal University in the same year.

The university now has 16 second-level colleges covering a wide range of disciplines such as arts, science, engineering, law, education, management, art, etc., with 76 undergraduate majors covering nine disciplines such as education, literature, history, economics, management, engineering, art, law, science, etc., and in the teacher training majors and the programs of Coal Science and Engineering, Environmental Science and Engineering, Food Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering and other disciplines in the field of the leading position in China.
