Rose (scientific name: Rosa rugosa? Thunb.): origin China. Belongs to the order Rosaceae, Rosaceae deciduous shrubs, branches and rods with many needles, odd pinnate compound leaves, leaflets 5-9, elliptic, with side thorns. Petals obovate, double to semi-double petals, flowers have purple-red, white, fruiting in August-September, oblate. The branches are weak and drooping with dense thorns, and it flowers only once a year, so it is less often used for breeding. Recently, its main valued characteristics are disease resistance and cold hardiness.

When roses are used as a cash crop, the flowers are mainly used for food and for refining the flavor of rose oil, which is used in the cosmetics, food and fine chemicals industries.
