2. Put the mushroom bag of Pleurotus ostreatus vertically into the barrel, cut a deep hole on the upper surface with a knife (mushrooms will grow outside the hole, which is what we usually do), and cover the mouth of the barrel with a layer of transparent plastic film (fresh-keeping bag, plastic film) just to prevent water from evaporating, so as not to cover it tightly and breathe. Spray water into the bucket with a watering can once in the morning and once in the evening to keep it moist.
3. Mushroom buds will appear in about 7- 10 days. Keep the environment in the barrel moist and spray water on the mushroom leaves as little as possible.
4. Ripening and picking can be carried out 4-7 days after fruiting (the temperature is 4 days high and 7 days low). When picking, uproot the whole mushroom, pull it out together, clean the white meat at the bag mouth, and repeat steps 2-4 (not cutting).
5. Generally, four crops can be produced. The later the mushroom grows, the longer it takes. Wait patiently.
After 6 or 4 stubbles, mushrooms will grow on the bag. At this time, leave water with a depth of 1cm in the barrel, lay the mushroom bag flat, and cut the bag where mushrooms grow from the bag body (only cut 1-2 mouths, not too many to prevent water loss), and repeat steps 2-6, so that 7-8 stubbles can grow.
