Chicken Congee (4 servings)
Main Ingredients: 3/4 cup white rice, ? chicken
Supplementary Ingredients: 1 teaspoon shredded ginger, 1200mls of water, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 spring onion, ? teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Preparation:
1. Wash the rice, put it into a rice cooker and fill with water.
2. Press congee button and select chicken congee program; set cooking time to 1 hour. Then press Cook to start cooking.
3. Wash the chicken and cut into pieces, marinate with salt and sesame oil for half an hour.
4. When the rice cooker prompts to add the chicken, add the chicken pieces, pepper and ginger.
5. After cooking, pour it into a bowl, sprinkle with shredded green onion and serve.
