It does not have strict lighting requirements and can grow in full sun, half sun or half shade. The leaf color tends to be lighter when the light is strong, and the leaf color is dark green when it is half shade. The colors of variegated leaf species are more vivid in bright light. The suitable temperature for seed germination is 20-25°C, and the suitable temperature for plant growth is 16-27°C. It can still grow at high temperatures above 30°C, and the temperature in winter should not be lower than 5°C. When plants are frozen below 0℃, they will fall off their leaves.
