Artificial breeding

(1)Parental training

The sexually mature parental fish should be intensively trained, and the training time is usually about half a year, with the focus on the fall and spring. Two points should be noted in the intensive cultivation: one is to have enough bait fish; the other is to ensure good water quality, it is best to regularly flush, to create a micro-flow environment to ensure the good development of the parents. Special attention should be paid to the fact that the breeding of the parents must be determined before the breeding of the breeding object, generally should be selected for the breeding of Siniperca chuatsi parents, in order to improve the economic benefits of aquaculture production.

(2)Parent selection

Chiniperca chuatsi fish caught in natural waters or pond culture, after artificial intensive cultivation, disease-free and injury-free robust individuals can be used as parents for artificial reproduction. The weight of male Mandarin fish should be 1~2 kilograms, and that of female Mandarin fish 2~3 kilograms. The difference between male and female Siniperca chuatsi is that the lower jaw of male is long, much longer than the upper jaw, with brighter body color, clear markings, and semen flowing out when the abdomen is pressed gently; while the lower jaw of female is shorter and almost as long as the upper jaw. Female fish with well-developed gonads are characterized by obvious abdominal ovaries, soft abdomen, prominent red swelling of the genital pore, and transparent yellow-green eggs. To determine whether the male is mature, the main thing is to gently press the abdomen, there is a milky white semen flow, into the water will be dispersed, you can prove that the gonads are well developed.

(C) artificial fertilization

Artificial fertilization season is from May to August. Injections of HCG, LRH-A and pituitary, mixed or alone can be injected, with HCG 1000 international units, LRH-A 50 micrograms / kg dose of female fish is the best results, the dose of males halved, all with the pectoral fin base of the one-time injection method. The ratio of male to female is 1:1.5, and at a water temperature of 25℃, females can come into heat and spawn in about 24 hours. It is better to have some running water in the spawning pool to stimulate the fish.

(4)Artificial incubation

The incubation method adopts ring channel running water incubation. Since the fertilized eggs of Mandarin fish are non-sticky and semi-floating eggs, and they are bigger than the eggs of domestic fish, the flow rate should be bigger accordingly to prevent the eggs from being deposited. The incubation time of the eggs is closely related to the water temperature. In the ring channel running water hatching, the water temperature 24 ~ 28 ℃ about 28 hours, 30 ℃ about 24 hours.
