Can you eat cooked shiitake mushrooms overnight?

Shiitake mushrooms are one of the more popular members of the mushroom family; they are also a favorite in many people's lives because of their delicious flavor. In my personal opinion, overnight mushrooms are still edible. Only in terms of nutrition, as well as taste, it will be slightly worse.

Of course, if the overnight mushrooms can be eaten, in my personal understanding, it should be divided into the following two cases:

One, uncooked mushrooms overnight

For those who are not cooking mushrooms, generally can be placed for a longer period of time, provided that the mushrooms are dry enough, and placed in the preservation of the room.

Such mushrooms can usually be protected for about 7 days, so overnight storage will not affect their quality and we can eat them with confidence.

But as shiitake mushrooms are left for a longer period of time, the corresponding flavor and nutrition of shiitake mushrooms will be lost. If the refrigerator is humid, there is also the possibility of mold.

So in my personal opinion, we should not buy too many mushrooms at once. After all, shiitake mushrooms are in plentiful supply nowadays, and we can just buy them when we need to eat them ourselves.

2. Cooked mushrooms

For those mushrooms that have been cooked, I think as long as we keep them properly, even if they have been stored overnight, they can still be eaten on the next day.

Generally speaking, shiitake mushrooms can be eaten in stir-fry or stew. If you don't have enough mushrooms to eat, you should store them in the refrigerator, whether they are stir-fried or stewed.

Placed in the refrigerator's freshness chamber, it can delay the deterioration of the mushrooms; in a low temperature environment, even if the mushrooms have been cooked, placed in the night, there is still not a big problem.

We can still eat yesterday's shiitake mushrooms the next day at dinner time; however, we should try to heat through the remaining mushrooms in the process, which is more conducive to good health.

Consolidating the above seems to be the case, overnight mushrooms can still be eaten, but if it is already obvious to find the deterioration, we should not be eating.
