Shandong Lunan area (Yanzhou Qufu Zoucheng Zaozhuang Tengzhou and other places) is called sweet potato, Yunnan Guizhou is called sweet potato or potato, Guangxi is called sweet potato (in fact, most areas in Guangxi are still called potato, and some places call sweet potato winter potato), Shanxi is called yam egg, Anhui is also called sweet potato, and most provinces in Northeast China are called potatoes. Hebei area is called yam and yam. Potatoes are also called potato, potato, potato, yam egg, steamed egg and potato (commonly known in Hong Kong and Guangzhou). Although potatoes are called "yam eggs" in some areas, there are actually things called yam eggs. So be sure to distinguish clearly and don't misunderstand. Italians call it sweet potato, French call it sweet apple, Germans call it fragrant pear, Americans call it Irish sweet potato, and Russians call it Dutch sweet potato. In view of the confusion of the name, botanists gave it a worldwide scientific name-potato.
Red taro (also known as red taro), white taro (also known as white taro), nine taro (dog claw taro), betel nut taro (called Lipu taro in Guangxi) and so on. Red taro is named after its red buds, and the cross-sectional color and taste after cutting are not obviously different from those of white taro.
