Funing County is a county under the jurisdiction of Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Funing County was established in the Republic of China, and it was named "Funing County" because Anning Prefecture was placed here in the Yuan Dynasty, and then it was merged into Fuzhou.
Funing County is located in the southeast of Yunnan Province, bordering Vietnam Hejiang Province in the south, adjacent to Youjiang, Xilin, Tianlin, Napo and Jingxi counties in Baise, Guangxi in the east and west, and connected to Guangnan and Malipo counties in Wenshan Prefecture in the west. It is located at the junction of three provinces and ten counties in the two countries, and the National Highway 323 runs through the county, which is an important gateway for Yunnan to Guangxi, Guangdong and other coastal areas.
Funing is a multi-ethnic settlement, inhabited by six ethnic groups: Zhuang, Han, Miao, Yao, Yi and Gelao.
