Geographical environment:
Dachen Island has perfect tourist facilities, and there are several hotels on the island, where accommodation is convenient. The cuisine features little seafood, famous for its grouper and big old yellow croaker. It is also quite delicious to taste the raw fish, spicy snail sauce and crab plate marinated by fishermen. Grouper is a sedentary fish that lives in the sea area of islands and reefs, and it is called a treasure in the sea.
Pseudosciaena crocea was originally a famous large-scale economic fish in the East China Sea. The fishing season lasted for thousands of years, and it was almost extinct after the 1980 s because of cool fishing and overfishing. In 1990s, cage culture was developed, and the ecological environment in Dachen sea area was excellent. The quality of cultured Pseudosciaena crocea was very close to the wild flavor, and it was identified as a brand-name seafood. It is also a pleasant thing for a tourist to visit a marine farm and personally catch a long-lost large yellow croaker.
