How to make your own peanut butter?

1 What kind of peanuts produce oil? What kind of peanuts can be pureed in a blender in just one or two minutes?

Let’s take a look at these two types of peanuts. The ones on the left are red and smaller, but because they are not new peanuts, there are two problems when making peanut butter. First, because they are small, the skin is more difficult to remove. Second, because I am not new to peanuts, I don’t like to produce oil very much. The peanut on the right does not have the above two problems. It's quite easy to make. If you only have red-skinned peanuts on hand, you can add some oil when stirring.

The peanuts below will automatically turn into puree after stirring for a minute or two. Because the peanut particles are full. During the process of frying over low heat, oil is already coming out. So after putting it into the grinding cup, the oil will come out quickly and it will automatically turn into mud. This is actually peanut butter. Why should I continue to do this? That's because this peanut butter has no flavor, neither sweet nor salty. Secondly, it lacks some moisturizing feeling. In order to make our taste better, we need to do some more operations on this basis.

So, what does the peanut butter look like after we make it? Look at the picture below. I looked at the ingredient list of peanut butter and it contained hydrogenated vegetable oil. It can make peanut butter not only stay moist for a long time, but also solidify. This is harmful to health and we don’t have it in our own homes. So, I used butter instead. Although the small amount of butter is not much, it not only has a solidifying effect, but also makes the taste moister. Look, there is a big difference compared to the picture above. If you like granular peanut butter, you can add a few crushed peanuts after mixing. The taste is quite good too. Homemade peanut butter doesn't last too long, so it's much fresher than the kind with a shelf life of 18 months.
