Anqing pastry shop "Mailongxiang" is a traditional specialty. The production must go through nine processes and careful ingredients. 2. Jiangmao dumplings
Anqing city's famous flavor snacks. Dumpling stuffing is made from the hind leg meat of black-haired pigs in mountainous areas, accompanied by shrimps and pickled mustard tuber, and boiled with pure chicken juice or bone soup. It has a unique flavor of thin skin, tender meat and fresh soup, and is deeply loved by people. Because its founder Jiang Qingfu has a pinch of white hair on his neck, he is nicknamed "Jiang Mao", so he is called "Jiang Mao Dumplings". Now it is listed as "local snacks" by Anhui Tourism Bureau.
3. Tongcheng Silk Jujube
Tongcheng specialty, sliced local raw dates, soaked in sugar water, first boiled in a copper pot, then slowly cooked with slow fire, about 7 hours after the date is cooked, taken out and dried, sweet and crisp, and it is the first-class silk jujube. According to legend, Tongcheng silk jujube once paid tribute to the Qing emperor and was designated as a tribute.
4. Xiaojiaqiao shortbread
Xiaojiaqiao shortbread was created by Li Daolong in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. It was named after its operation in Xiaojiaqiao. It has a history of one hundred years, and it is a famous specialty in our city, enjoying a good reputation in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
