It comes from the dry aboveground parts of Orosta. chysfimbriata (Turcz。 ) Berg.
Plant morphology biennial herb with short basal leaves arranged in rosettes. The apex is a white appendage, semi-circular, fringed, with a needle-like tip 1 in the center. Cauline leaves are linear to obovate, with a length of1.9 ~ 3cm, a width of 0.2 ~ 0.5cm and a long tip. Stem height 10 ~ 20 (~ 40) cm. Racemes or panicles. Bracts linear, pedicels as long as 1 cm. Sepals are oblong, 1 ~ 3 cm long, petals are red or white, ovate-lanceolate or needle-shaped, stamens are shorter or almost equal to petals, and anthers are purple. _ _ Fruit is oblong, with many seeds and oval shape.
