Peach Blossoms and Flowing Water Fatten Mandarin Fish
I. The Original Text
"Raccoon River Sand - Fisherman's Father" by Su Shi
White egrets flew by the mountains of Xisai, and the sail outside the continent of Scattered Flowers was slight. The Peach Blossom Water and Mandarin Fish are fat.
Self-heltered in a green Ruo hat, followed by a green Demoiselle raincoat everywhere. The first thing I'd like to do is to get a good deal on a new product or service.
Second, interpretation
The first line: This poem depicts the beauty of the Jiangnan water town. By Xisai Mountain, egrets fly, and outside Scattered Flowers Chau, only a small sailboat can be seen in the distance. Peach blossoms are in full bloom, and the spring water is flooded, it is the time for the Mandarin fish to become fat.
The whole poem depicts the natural beauty and ecological environment of Jiangnan in concise language, giving people a fresh and pleasant feeling. At the same time, it also expresses the author's love and longing for the natural beauty.
Second line: The poem "Fishing Songs" describes the life of a fisherman who enjoys himself in the slanting wind and rain and does not need to return home. In the poem, the words "I have been sheltering myself in a green Ruo hat and following the green straw raincoat everywhere" express the fisherman's independence and his attitude of living in harmony with nature.
The whole poem reveals that the fisherman is not disturbed by the outside world, is one with nature, and enjoys the happiness of nature. It also expresses the author's yearning and pursuit of being free and close to nature.
Third, the background of the composition
"Raccoon Brook Sand-Fisherman's Father" is a lyric written by Su Shi, a writer of the Northern Song Dynasty. It was written in the fifth year of Yuanfeng of Emperor Shenzong of the Song Dynasty (1082) when Su Shi was relegated to Huangzhou (present-day Huanggang, Hubei Province).
At this time, Su Shi was imprisoned for the Wutai Poetry Case, and was persecuted by his political rival, Zhang Dun, and others, and wrote his most famous grievance, "Fugue from Nestor Hui to Tour the Mountain": "Fangzhi knows that the plan is wrong with the will, and he does not need to be tormented by the worries of a hundred people." Then Su Shi took a boat to visit the Yangtze River, and the last sentence says: "Who counts the rolls? The river and lake a fishing boat." Su Shi compares himself to a fisherman who escapes from the river and lake, which expresses his boredom and helplessness to the official struggle.
The whole song shows Su Shi's desire for a secluded lake, but also reveals his helplessness and dissatisfaction with his own predicament. The words depict the scenery of the Yangtze River, and the image of the fisherman father represents Su Shi himself, showing his yearning for freedom and closeness to nature.
The whole lyric is strongly colored by personal emotions, showing Su Shi's desire to return to nature and stay away from official struggles in the face of political dilemmas.
