1. Water quality requirements:
In the process of shrimp farming, water changes should be determined according to the transparency of the water. You don’t need to change too much water in the early stage. Change the water when the transparency is about 15cm. Don’t change all the water, just change about half of the water in the pool. When changing water, the principle should be to release water first and then receive water, and change more water after nightfall.
2. Feeding: Shrimp are omnivores and can generally be fed animal feeds such as small fish, dried fish meal, snail meat and various animal offal scraps, as well as rapeseed cakes, soybean meal, Bran, wheat, corn, pumpkin and other plant-based feeds.
Based on the growth and water quality of the shrimp, the shrimp should be fed at least 6 times a day in the later growth period, once every 4 hours. Be careful not to continue feeding when the water quality is relatively poor. It is best to start feeding about an hour after adding new water.
