There are four cuisines: Sichuan cuisine, Shandong cuisine, Guangdong cuisine and Huaiyang cuisine; eight cuisines: Sichuan cuisine, Shandong cuisine, Guangdong cuisine, Hunan cuisine, Jiangsu cuisine, Zhejiang cuisine, Fujian cuisine and Anhui cuisine; and ten cuisines: Sichuan cuisine, Shandong cuisine, Guangdong cuisine, Hunan cuisine, Jiangsu cuisine, Zhejiang cuisine, Fujian cuisine, Anhui cuisine, Beijing cuisine and Anhui cuisine. Cantonese cuisine, referred to as Cantonese cuisine for short, is composed of three local dishes: Guangzhou, Chaozhou and Dongjiang. Jiangsu cuisine, referred to as Jiangsu cuisine for short, is one of the eight famous cuisines in China, represented by Suzhou and Yangzhou cuisines.
