Introduction of planting methods of water spinach
1. Seed soaking: The seed coat of water spinach is thick and hard. If you sow directly, it will germinate slowly due to low temperature. If it is in low temperature and rainy weather for a long time, it will lead to seed rot, so germination should be accelerated. Soak the seeds in warm water at 50 ~ 60℃ for 30 minutes, then soak them in clear water for 20 ~ 24 hours, pick them up, wash them and put them at about 25℃ to accelerate germination. During the germination period, the seeds should be washed with clean water 1 time every day, and the seeds should be sown after the skin breaks and white spots appear.

2. Sowing: Before sowing, deeply turn the soil, apply 2500-3000kg of decomposed organic fertilizer and 50- 100kg of plant ash every 667m2, mix with the soil evenly and rake it flat. Water spinach can be sown or drilled, and the dosage of seeds per 667m2 is 1.5 ~ 2.0 kg. After sowing, cover with fine soil about 25px thick. Drilling can make a shallow ditch with a depth of 2 ~ 75px on the border with a distance of 375px, then evenly sow seeds in the ditch, and then cover it with fine soil. Then cover the frame with film and heat preservation material, and uncover the cover after seedling emergence.

3. Water management: Ipomoea aquatica is a crop that has been harvested many times. Therefore, in addition to applying sufficient base fertilizer, topdressing must be carried out in several stages to achieve high yield. When the seedlings grow to 3-4 true leaves, compound fertilizer 15-20 kg and urea 2-4 kg should be mixed, and topdressing should be 5-8 kg at each harvest 1 in the harvest period. Water spinach needs a lot of water, so it should be watered frequently to keep the soil moist. During the growing period, intertillage should be done in time to weed, and intertillage is not needed after ridge sealing.

4. Pest control: The main diseases are seedling collapse and stem rot, which are caused by low temperature and excessive relative humidity. Reducing humidity can reduce the occurrence of diseases.
