Tieguanyin is oolong tea, also known as green tea, and it is one of the top ten famous teas in China. Tieguanyin is not only the name of tea, but also the variety name of tea tree, which is between green tea and black tea and belongs to semi-fermented tea.
Tieguanyin tea originated in Xiping Town, Anxi County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, and was found in 1723- 1735. Tieguanyin has a unique "Guanyin rhyme", which is fragrant and elegant. After brewing, it has a natural orchid fragrance, pure taste, rich and lasting fragrance, and has the reputation of "seven bubbles are more fragrant".
Classification of Tieguanyin tea varieties
According to the fermentation degree and production technology, Tieguanyin finished products can be roughly divided into three types: faint scent type, strong fragrance type and aged fragrance type.
1, fragrant Tieguanyin
Fen-flavor is light in taste, slightly sweet on the tip of the tongue, biased towards modern technology, and currently occupies the most market. The fragrant Tieguanyin is green in color, clear in soup color, rich in aroma, obvious in floral fragrance and mellow in taste.
2. Luzhou-flavor Tieguanyin
Luzhou-flavor tea is mellow in taste, long in aroma and sweet. It is a product made by baking and reprocessing tea fried by traditional technology. Luzhou-flavor Tieguanyin has the characteristics of "fragrant, thick, mellow and sweet", with deep color, golden soup color, pure aroma and heavy taste.
3. agarwood Tieguanyin
Chenxiang tea, also called old tea or cooked tea, is a kind of tea with strong aroma or fragrance made by Tieguanyin after long-term storage and repeated processing, and also belongs to semi-fermented tea. Aquilaria Tieguanyin has the characteristics of "thick, mellow, moist and soft", which is characterized by deep color, thick soup, sweet and mellow, and fragrant agarwood.
