1. Water chestnut cake
Ingredients: 500 grams of water chestnut powder, 2 kilograms of water, and 600 grams of white sugar.
Method: Mix 1 kilogram of water and water chestnut powder into a slurry (without granules).
Cook 1 kilogram of water and white sugar into thin sugar water.
Slowly pour the sugar water into the slurry while stirring constantly to mix evenly.
Put the slurry into the steaming tray and steam over high heat for 15-20 minutes.
After cooling, it becomes water chestnut cake.
2. Water chestnut, snow pear and carrot water
Ingredients: water chestnut, carrot and snow pear.
Method: Peel and cut the water chestnuts into cubes, and cut the pears and carrots into cubes.
Add water to the pot, put the chopped ingredients into the pot and bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to medium to low heat for half an hour.
If you like it sweet, you can add sugar or rock sugar appropriately.
3. Steamed meat pie with water chestnuts
Ingredients: 150g minced meat, 1 water chestnut, 1 green onion, 5g ginger, 2g starch, 5ml light soy sauce, and a little salt.
Method: Peel and mince the water chestnuts, shred the ginger and soak it in water, mince the meat and chop it finely with a knife.
Put the minced meat into a bowl, add minced water chestnuts, ginger water, starch, light soy sauce and salt and stir evenly.
Put the mixed minced meat into a flat plate, spread it out, and steam it for 10 minutes until the meatloaf is cooked.
