There are seven places in Mianhua Hutong where Qin Liangyu, a Sichuan heroine, trains (Sichuan Guild Hall). Ming Sizong, a poet in Qin Liangyu, Zeng Zeng, said, "Shu brocade is made of robes, and peach blossoms will be long tasselled immediately. There are many strange men in the world who are willing to travel thousands of miles on the battlefield." The former residence of Sun Chengze, a beginner in the late Ming and Qing Dynasties, is located at No.23-27 Housun Park. In his later years, he compiled historical materials of the previous dynasties, and wrote "A Record of Tianfu Guangji" and "A Record of Dreams in the Spring". During the Kangxi period, Hong Sheng's "Chang Sheng Dian" premiered in the grand theater in the park, which was later changed to Anhui Guild Hall. Zhu Yizun's former residence is Gu Teng Bookstore in Haibei Hutong, where he wrote and engraved the book Old News of the Sun, leaving precious local documents for Beijing. After he moved out, he was bought by Wen Rushi, an official in Beijing, and changed to Shunde Hall, which is now a cultural relic protection unit in Beijing. This former residence was written with a large font in the first two years and was partially demolished, and finally protected under the appeal of experts and scholars. The Yuewei Caotang, the former residence of Ji Xiaolan, the chief usurper of Sikuquanshu, is in the east of Hufang Bridge; The former residence of the famous poet Wang Shizhen (Yu Yang) is in Xitaiping Lane; Sun Xingyan, a great scholar in Qing Dynasty who was good at collating, exegetics and epigraphy, lived in Wanyuan Avenue. Huang Zunxian, a patriotic poet in the late Qing Dynasty, once lived in Jiaying Hall, the headline of Xiangluying. Historian Zhao Yi lived in Toona sinensis; Chen Jingting's former residence is in Xuanwumenwai Street; Kong Shangren's former residence is in Haibai Hutong; Lin Baishui's former residence is in the headlines of cotton; Shao Piaoping's former residence is in Wei Ran Hutong. Other celebrities living in this area include Li Yu, Weng Fanggang, Qian Daxin, Luo Pin, Li Wenzao, Hong Liangji, Menglong Liang, etc. Unfortunately, some celebrities' former residences have been demolished, resulting in a cultural fault.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Wucheng School, Telephone Office and Excellent Normal School (later renamed Beijing Normal University) were built on the site of the original Liulichang. In the 1920s, Lu Xun gave a speech in the stormy playground of Normal University. Nowadays, the names of places around Liulichang, such as Shatu Garden, Northwest Garden, Southeast Garden and Bajiao Liulijing, are all historical marks. There are many clubs in this area, such as Daijun Club, Sichuan Club, Fuzhou Club, Wenxi Club, Xufu Club, Zhenjiang Club, Linchuan Club, Gansu Club, Xuancheng Club, Fujian Club, Yunnan Club, Anqing Club, Guizhou Club, Xizi Club, Pu Yin Club, Sanjin Club, Yan 'an Club, Chaozhou Club, Guangdong Club, Luzhou Club, Hangzhou Club, Lu 'an Club and so on. The theaters of Anhui Guild Hall, Huguang Guild Hall and Zhengyi Temple (Yinhao Guild Hall) are the best preserved.
