Battle of Red Cliffs is one of the wars in which China defeated the strong with the weak. On July 12, 2008, Cao Cao led the land and water army, claiming to be a million, launched the Jingzhou campaign, and then marched eastward to Sun Quan. Sun Quan and Liu Bei formed an alliance under the command of Zhou Yu, and defeated Cao Jun in Chibi area of the Yangtze River, thus laying a tripartite confrontation pattern among the three countries.
