How to use the pressure cooker?

1. Learn first and use later.

When using an electric pressure cooker for the first time, be sure to read the instruction manual of the pressure cooker. Always follow the instructions or ask someone who knows what they are doing for advice. Never use something you have learned.

2. Check before use.

First, double-check that the vent hole is clear and that the hole under the seat of the safety valve is not clogged with leftover rice grains or other food debris. If it is blocked by food during use, the pot should be removed from the fire source and forced to cool down to clean the air holes before continuing to use it, otherwise the food will spurt out and scald people during use. Also check the rubber gasket for aging. Rubber gaskets will deteriorate after a period of use. The aging rubber ring will easily make the pressure cooker leak and needs to be renewed in time.

3. Open the lid

Grab the handle of the lid with your hand and rotate the lid clockwise to the extreme edge, then rotate it upwards.

4. Remove the inner pot.

Put the food and water into the inner pot, the food and water should not exceed 4/5 of the height of the inner pot; the expandable food in the water should not exceed 3/5 of the height of the inner pot; the food and water should not be lower than 1/5 of the height of the inner pot.The maximum cooking capacity of 4L, 5L and 6L is 8 cups, 10 cups and 12 cups respectively.1 cup of rice with 1 cup of water. 5. Put the inner pot into the outer pot.

Wipe the inner pot and heating plate clean before putting them in. There should be no debris on the surface of the outer pot and the heating plate. After putting it in, gently turn the inner pot from side to side to make sure that the inner pot is in good contact with the heating plate.

6. Close the lid.

Check that the sealing ring is on the steel ring inside the lid; turn the sealing ring left and right with your hand so that it can be placed freely and evenly on the steel ring; cover the pot and then rotate the pot counterclockwise to the locking position, and hear the "click" sound. The handle of the pot must be completely overlapped with the handle of the pan before placing it on the stove to cook food, otherwise it will cause the pot to explode and the lid to fly accident.

7. Place the pressure limiting vent valve.

Turn the pressure-limiting exhaust valve to the "Sealed" position and check whether the float valve drops (the float valve drops before heating). Turn on the power and the boost light comes on.

8. Set the holding time according to the food.

Do not open the lid during heating to avoid food bursting out and scalding people. Do not remove the weights or pressure regulator until cooling is confirmed to prevent food from spewing out and injuring people. Open the lid after natural or forced cooling.

9. Do not scrape with sharp tools.

Pressure cookers must be cleaned promptly after use, especially checking the safety plug for hidden food deposits and residues. Keep cookware looking clean. Don't use sharp tools such as knives, scissors, spatulas, etc. to shovel the inside and outside of the cookware. Otherwise the cookware tends to become bumpy or scraped horizontally, damaging the protective coating.

10. Do not pressurize without authorization.

When using, some people arbitrarily add weight to the pressurizing valve to increase the pressure inside the pot and force the production time to be shortened. As we all know, the pot pressure has strict technical parameters. Neglect of this scientific design will lead to serious consequences of pot explosion injury.
