The first is water quality.
Big pineapple has a strong adaptability to water quality, which is not as high as that required by parrots. However, attention should be paid to maintaining the water quality it likes to raise fish with Yan Huang color. Big pineapple likes weak acid soft water, and like parrots, be careful not to raise pineapple with alkaline or hard water, otherwise the color of pineapple will be white and not yellow.
The second is the water temperature.
The water temperature required for large pineapples is not as high as that of young fish, and they can grow well from 22 to 30 degrees, but it is better to keep them above 26 degrees if they want to grow faster.
The third is feed.
Big pineapples are not as picky about feed as small pineapples. Artificial pellet feed, blood worms, fish eggs, shrimps, breadworms, chicken and duck livers are all willing to eat, and they are often full and can eat a lot, but big pineapples love breadworms most, and eating breadworms also grows fastest.
The fourth is hair color. When the pineapple is raised to 6 cm, it is necessary to pay attention to the hair color. Don't wait until it is raised to more than 10 cm. The hair color of pineapple is different from that of parrot. Parrot hair color is red, while pineapple hair color is both red and yellow. Hair-colored feed can mainly be used: fish eggs (to increase yellow), river shrimp (to increase red and bright) and artificial color-increasing feed (such as treasure to increase red). Pineapples that have been fed with fish eggs for a long time are yellower than ordinary pineapples, while river shrimps have a strong brightening effect on the red eye circle and red stripes of pineapples. A pineapple with a tail of more than 10 centimeters does not produce red stripes. As long as you keep feeding river shrimps every day, within a month, the face and ventral fins will become red and moving. Fifth, polyculture: Pineapple belongs to docile large fish, so be careful not to polyculture with some too fierce large fish (such as Lohan and azazel), otherwise the fins of pineapple will be torn repeatedly and cannot be recovered, greatly reducing the ornamental value.
