Select a pond with good water quality, no source of pollution and little outside interference. Use moso bamboo to build a stand in the pond and fix the four corners of the net box on the stand. Each net box set up a food table. Eels because of the habit of mutual carnivory, so the stocking specifications require basic consistency, generally 20 to 50 grams / tail.

The stocking time for eels should be chosen in April, May, or August to September to avoid the breeding period of sexual maturity of eels from mid-May to July. The most suitable temperature for eels is 24 to 28 degrees Celsius.

Feeding should be timed, eels day and night, feeding at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. is appropriate. Put the feed should be fresh, not put rotting moldy feed. Feed should be washed before placement, each cubic meter of water and then 3 to 5 grams of salt immersion 10-20 minutes, and then rinsed with water before feeding. Generally choose freshwater small mixed fish, the daily bait quantity is 3%-5% of the total weight of eels in the net box.

Artificial feeding, due to feeding a large amount of feed, eels exclude feces easily pollute the water, so it is necessary to frequently refill new water to keep the water quality fresh. In spring, change the water once every 7 to 10 days, and change the water once every 3 to 5 days in summer.
The net box should also be disinfected regularly, using 10 grams of bleach per cubic meter of water and splashing the whole pool.
After stocking, the net box can be stocked with an appropriate amount of loach, the use of loach up and down the habit, play a diversionary role in increasing oxygen, but also to eliminate the eel residual bait. In the pond stocking a certain amount of chub to regulate water quality.
Clean the net box at the right time, remove too much debris and attached algae, keep the net box inside and outside the water exchange smooth. The net box species placed water plants, water hyacinth, water peanut is good, for the growth of eel habitat to provide a good place. Transplantation of water peanuts is best to remove the roots and wash in 5% salt water soaked for about 10 minutes to prevent locusts and other harmful organisms with the grass into the box.

Eel seedlings should be strictly disinfected before entering the box, especially in the eel susceptible to disease in July to September, every 20 days with 1 ppm bleach sprinkled throughout the box, found sick eels timely isolation. Discover the disease, timely and symptomatic medication to minimize losses.

In December each year, when the water temperature drops below 12 degrees, eel feeding, growth basically stop. At this time, the eels in the net box will be harvested and marketed.
