Avalokitesvara holds a pure bottle and Yang Zhi in her hand, indicating that the Bodhisattva has saved the world's vast sorrow. The fire house is in the three realms, and the hearts of all beings are full of heat. Avalokitesvara can help the audience to suffer, and sometimes she sprinkles human nectar with a bottle, which makes all living things cool.
1. All sentient beings believe in avalokitesvara, that is, they long for the dew of the bodhisattva to douse their inner heat. Buddhism exhorts that avalokitesvara does have nectar water that makes all sentient beings feel hot and cold (nectar also refers to the way to get rid of Buddhism and nirvana). If you pay attention to Guanyin from time to time, you can be saved by the compassion of Bodhisattva.
2. Due to the general utilitarian exchange psychology of Guanyin belief, Buddhism believes that Guanyin belief should be sincere, rather than cramming for the Buddha's feet when suffering is at hand. Only loyalty and sincerity at ordinary times can correspond to the great compassion of the bodhisattva. Only by adhering to the words of the Bodhisattva at ordinary times can we increase pure merit and grain.
It's like trusting the doctor when you are sick, and once you get well, you completely forget the doctor's advice, so naturally you won't have long-term health. Not only do you need to recuperate when you are sick, but you also need to maintain and promote health when you are not sick. Believing in Guanyin Bodhisattva should also practice faithfully in peacetime. In this way, you can always get the nectar of poplar branches and the coolness without heat.
