1. To make braised pork with lentils, first cut the lean meat into slightly wider shreds or slices. After washing the lentils, cut them into sections as long as your little finger. Then prepare onions and ginger. Pour oil into the hot pan, add onion, ginger and meat, stir-fry twice, pour in soy sauce, stir-fry the meat and then add lentils, stir-fry a few times, add water (hot or cold), do not use the water More can be added at any time. Add seasonings (salt, a little cooking wine) until all the water is used up and the lentils are cooked and mushy.
Note: The meat is not easy to be cooked, and the lentils must be cooked before they can be eaten.
2. Braised potatoes and lentils, prepare the lentils as above and cut the potatoes into cubes. Pour a little oil into the hot pan, add three or five Sichuan peppercorns, turn off the heat after the Sichuan peppercorns turn black, and pick out the Sichuan peppercorns. Turn on the heat again, pour the lentils into the pot and stir-fry for a few times.
Pour in cold water (you can have a little more water), put the potato pieces into the pot, and add the ginger and garlic at the same time. Salt. After boiling the pot, reduce the heat to medium, then to low, until the potatoes and lentils are cooked.
Note: Don’t use too little water when serving the pot, bring some soup with it.
You can try the above two methods when you have time, but they are relatively useless.
