There are egg trees in the world, distributed in Brazil, China and other countries.
Egg tree is a perennial evergreen climbing woody vine distributed in Brazil, China and other countries. There are tendrils, single leaves alternate, with petioles, usually with 2 glands on them, and cymes, sometimes degenerated with only 1 to 2 flowers remaining. In spring, plumeria trees have no leaves or flowers, and their trunks are bare. In summer, the frangipani tree starts to grow leaves slowly, just like a new tree. After the leaves grow, flowers begin to grow.
Habits
Egg trees are relatively easy to propagate. They can be propagated by seedlings or cuttings, but cuttings grow the fastest and produce the earliest results. Before sowing, the seeds need to be pre-treated at low temperature (0℃) for 3 months. The suitable temperature for germination is about 20℃. The seeds will germinate 30 to 180 days after sowing, and the seedlings will not emerge neatly. The best time to take cuttings is in May. Cut off 10-12 cm young shoots. The cuttings should be heeled and inserted into the sand bed. The temperature of the cutting bed should be controlled at 18-20°C. Roots can take 25-30 days.
