The first one: sugar-coated haws.
Sugar-coated haws are common snacks in winter in northern China. Take a bite of the round hawthorn dipped in sugar. It tastes sweet and sour. This is particularly pleasant. It is not difficult to make candied haws at home. Follow the steps.
Specific manufacturing method
Step 1: Prepare ingredients. 500 grams of hawthorn, 200 grams of sugar, water 100 ml, bamboo stick.
Step 2: Wash and dry the hawthorn, and then take out the stem.
Step 3: Cut the hawthorn fruit from the waist, as shown in the figure.
Step 4: Take down the stone with a knife as shown in the figure. (It is more convenient to remove the nut. You don't need to take them off if the time is tight or the trouble is too great. I didn't take it off below, hehe ~)
Step 5: String the hawthorn fruit from small to large with bamboo sticks. (just string a few. This is not fixed. )
Step 6: Pour the sugar and water into the pot, and then cook the sugar with low fire.
Step 7: Stir with a shovel until the sugar is completely melted. (After melting, there is no need to stir. )
Step 8: With the evaporation of water, there will be more and more bubbles in the pot.
Step 9: Turn down the fire until the bubbles become thick and the color turns yellow. You can also dip your chopsticks in a little syrup, quickly put it in cold water and take it out after a few seconds. If the sugar is crisp, it means that the sugar is cooked well. )
Step 10: Prepare a clean board in advance and apply a thin layer of water on it by hand. Then you can soak it in sugar. Tilt the pot slightly, gently put the hawthorn string on the foam, cover it with a thin layer of foam, and then quickly put it on the board. Let it cool for three to five minutes and you can enjoy it. When dipping in sugar, the sooner the better. This is a technical job. Do it once more and you will have experience. Besides, only I can do this step. I really can't afford to take pictures. Please be considerate. )
The second way: sugar snowball
Sugar snowball, also known as "sugar-fried hawthorn" and "sugar cone" hawthorn is covered with a layer of snow-white sugar. It tastes different.
Specific manufacturing method
Step 1: Prepare ingredients. Hawthorn 200g, sugar 100g, water 100ml, white vinegar drops.
Step 2: Take out the hawthorn stems, clean them, and then dry them for later use.
Step 3: Pour the sugar and water into the pot and cook the sugar with medium fire and slow fire. When boiling, stir with a shovel until all the sugar melts.
Step 4: Boil the syrup. When the bubbles become smaller and thicker, pour a few drops of white vinegar into the pot, stir well and turn off the heat. (Continue to stir the whole process. )
Don't believe it. I'll teach you three ways to eat hawthorn. If your child wants hawthorn, he can cook it at home. Clean and sanitary, save money
Step 5: Continue to stir with a shovel until the temperature of the sugar drops.
Step 6: Put the hawthorn fruit into the pot and stir-fry it quickly and evenly, so that the surface of each fruit is full of sugar, as shown in the figure.
Step 7: As the temperature drops, the ice will become whiter and whiter until it is completely solidified.
